The work of Caroline Appleyard can be found at www.turnstonegallery.net
Caroline began painting professionally in 2006, exhibiting locally near her Peak District home. Her work has since impressed visitors to the Great Sheffield Art Show and she has also exhibited at the Society of Women Artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.
Caroline is a keen diver and some of her favourite diving locations provide inspiration for her paintings. She describes her work as haphazard, as she creates small stories in locations which involve people, animals, birds and hidden underwater residents.
Caroline loves to combine painting, travelling and diving and this enjoyment is reflected in her work - always bright, warm and a great sense of fun.
