If you are interested in any of Steve's work please phone the gallery on 01947 893289 or email us via the website. Don't forget that we operate the Arts Council's own art scheme, an interest free credit arrangement.

Steve’s long career as an artist has involved his wide ranging creative skills in heritage and public art, as well as involvement in all levels of education, in the North East.

His paintings reflect his life long interest in the more remote locations of the natural world and their basic textural and material elements.

For him, nature is the means by which we feel connected to the world, and that connection is something we should never lose sight of.

Colour plays an important role in the elements he is drawn to – whether they be the strong changes we see through the seasons, the subtle shades of stone and moss or the sparkling shades of the sea.

Steve is happy to work on commissions arranged through our gallery.
